Grabbing your gadget is easy to do and does not require any software installation. Simply follow the steps below to quickly learn how it works.
Step 1: Underneath each gadget you will see a "Get Widget" button.
Step 2: Once you click on the "Get Widget" button, a second window will open which will show you the code you need to copy and paste into your site or blog. You can also import these gadgets into Facebook, MySpace, iGoogle page or any other social network simply by clicking on the appropriate icon. Once clicked, you will be asked to sign in to your account. Once you sign in, you will need to follow a few simple steps and then the gadget will automatically be transferred into your account, no development work needed.
Step 3: Sometimes when you click on the "Get Widget" button, a second window will open up that will ask you for additional information for the purposes of customization (i.e. URL of your hosted photos for a slide show or account login info for a music playlist.) Within the new window you can input your customized info and get the new code. Other times there will be a "pencil" icon next to the "Get Widget" button that will also offer customization (i.e. skin color, font, etc) via a new window if you want to add some of your own style to the gadget before posting.
